Green Tara, a beloved deity in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, is revered as a Bodhisattva of boundless compassion, aiding beings in overcoming suffering. This particular statue is unique in its design. Unlike most Green Tara statues, which feature a crown, this one is crafted without, giving it a distinctive, graceful appearance. We opted for minimal engraving on the robe, resulting in a clean, elegant look. However, the border engravings have been executed with precision, adding intricate detail. The entire statue is richly gilded with 24k gold, ensuring lasting durability and a radiant finish. An antique finish has been applied, offering a timeless, comforting presence to those who behold it. The face, carefully hand-painted in gold, reflects masterful craftsmanship. Altogether, this statue not only captivates visually but also evokes a deep sense of connection, enhancing the practitioner's experience and devotion to Green Tara's compassionate practice.
